Iron House Recovery Homes

The vision of Iron House Recovery Homes (IHRH) is to see people grow and mature together in a God centered environment as they become willing, open, and honest enough to become equipped with the necessary tools to live a healthy and abundant lifestyle.
The mission of Iron House Recovery Homes is to provide a safe and positive living environment from a Christian perspective for those in recovery from addiction and alcoholism, leaving semantics and the opinions of others outside the door. Because He Lives, we can face tomorrow!

To that end, IHRH is committed to serving those seeking recovery housing and other supports who freely choose to engage in a program of recovery in a Biblically Based peer supported trusted servant run living environment.

The goal is to assist individuals sincerely seeking a new way of life by providing the tools and resources necessary to address their own needs and become self-sustaining, accountable, and contributing members of a structured housing model. This model emphasizes accountability through a system of checks and balances for all members and trusted servants. Additionally, it equips members with the skills required for future growth, whether expanding into another house operating under the Iron House Operational Manual or transitioning to their own rental or home purchase.

We guide each member toward community-based supports, including:

  • Local church Partnership and Bible studies.
  • Faith-based recovery groups & programming.
  • 12-step meetings and other recovery organizations.
  • Peer Support, Community Resources, other assistance programs.

We believe recovery is not merely achieving freedom from drugs, alcohol, and self-centered behaviors. It is about embracing the freedom to become all that God has created and called us to be. Every member begins with an initial recovery plan, detailing:

  1. Church engagement: Where they will attend church each week.
  2. Meeting involvement: What recovery or self-help meetings they will attend.
  3. Mentorship: Identifying their sponsor, mentor, coach, etc.
  4. Personal growth: Areas for improvement through Biblical Principles and context of scripture.

Through Christ, members can become good parents, valued employees, loving neighbors, and productive community members. The freedom found in Christ, however, cannot be kept unless it is “given away.” This is achieved by carrying The Message to other addicts, alcoholics, and anyone within the mission’s reach while striving to make Biblical principles the guiding standard in all our worldly affairs.
