This marvelous antique hand-colored copper plate engraving is Plate No. No #660 Lysimachia Quadriflora Four-Flowered Loose-Strife, from an 1803 issue of the famed Curtis Botanical Magazine published in London by Thomas Curtis. The illustrator was Sydenham Edwards and the engraver was F. Sansom. The paper is 5.3" x 9" and the plate size is 4.75" x 7.75". Text page is included matted and plastic sealed.
