I bought this base model back in 2018 for extracurricular use. Never had a single problem. No damage to iPad. All buttons are functional. Powers on and holds charge effortlessly. No scratches. Red lines on the back of the iPad is an edited version of the photo that blocks out the serial number and model number. Great for casual use or for children. Best budget friendly iPad option out right now.
