Original 1913 Australian stereoview photo card captioned “motor smash, Sale Road near Maffra 30 July 1913." Shows a Brass Era touring automobile in a roadside accident with a man standing beside the car. This does not appear to be a staged or studio scene but rather an actual photograph of an auto accident. Early 3D stereo pair meant for a stereoscope viewer. Right-hand drive vehicle typical of early British/Commonwealth imports used in rural Australia. Excellent piece of automotive, Australian local history, and early photography ephemera. No publisher imprint on back but hand-captioned with date and location. Measures approximately 7" x 4".

Some bending to the card which is common for stereoviews. No rips or tears noted. See pictures for further details on condition.
