This in a Andrea Tagliapietra signed aquarium. It is in a vase style.
Andrea Tagliapietra is a well respected Murano glass artist.
It shows 4 fish. It is 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It weighs over 4 1/2 pounds.
If you've ever tried to photograph a glass object, you know It is difficult. In 3 of the pictures there is a white cloth inside. This is not part of the aquarium.
Photographing the signature was also difficult, which is why there are 4 photos. One of the photos makes the bottom look scratched, but it is not.
It is clean and I have never used it as a vase, it has simply sat in my curio cabinet. I am getting old and it is time to find new homes for my treasures.
