This dynamic 18 x 24 inch screenprint on cream Speckletone paper is Shepard Fairey’s “AIGA Collage”, created in 2017 for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) to promote design activism and civic engagement.
The layered collage features iconic Fairey motifs: a peace dove, “Ministry of Truth 101” badge, “Endless Power” industry critique, “Corporate Voucher” satire, “The Future is Unwritten” quote, phoenix rising from flames, and fragmented propaganda text like “Did Not Be Fascist” and “Labor Fascism is Redeemed”.
Hand-signed in pencil by Shepard Fairey and numbered 133/300 from the limited edition of 300 (released via obeygiant.com).
