This is a 1996 Hallmark Special Edition "Holiday Traditions Barbie" doll; the first in the "Holiday Homecoming Collector Series", created exclusively for Hallmark Gold Crown stores by Mattel.
The doll wears a Victorian-style ensemble including a plum-colored velvet top with puffed sleeves and white faux-fur trim, and a brocade floor-length patterned skirt, a matching large-brimmed hat with black feathers, and bow and heart broach. The design was inspired by the nostalgic artwork of an antique greeting card from the early 1900s.
It was released by Mattel in 1996.
