Exceptionally beautiful large flow black/Mulberry Ironstone platters.
There are 2 platters available in the “Corean” pattern by Podmore Walker & Co c.1834-59
These platters were called “pearl stoneware” because of the beautiful sheen to the glaze.
Platter has a beautiful Asian scene in flow black/mulberry in the middle of the plate and scrolling detail on outside edge.
Platter measures 15 3/4” by 12”
It has some minor issues like chipping around the edges and a crack in the bottom left corner but otherwise this piece is gorgeous. Please see pictures and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
