The Super Fly was introduced in 2000 as a minimalistic, lightweight running shoe. It features a simple leather upper with an inside-out like construction at the forefoot aiding with fit and comfort. The Super Fly went on to release in a multitude of different crazy colourways, there are chrome pairs, snakeskin pairs and even argyle print pairs. It didn’t take long for the Caprice Neely designed shoe to catch Junya Watanabe’s eye. His Super Fly iteration was the third collaboration between himself and Nike, however it was the first time he actually altered a silhouette to fit in with Comme Des Garçons aesthetic. The Superfly has been re-released this year. Note, these fit small.
