An oil on canvas original painting of a rural landscape during winter with two horses in pasture and an old barn by American artist Lorraine Theresa Tousignant Swingle (1923-2004). Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Swingle was also an art teacher. She was a member of the Art Leagues of Bristol and Plainville, Connecticut. This painting is in very good plus condition. The frame has black velvet border and damage to the upper left corner but it is not noticeable when hanging and can be easily touched up. The framed painting measures approximately 31 1/2” by 25 1/2”. I am an art collector and am currently culling my collection so please check back frequently if you love quality originals and prints.
