A black man’s confession
As of January 5, 9:53 p.m. EST, The death of COVID-19 in the United States has reached 828,436.
I watched as many of my friends passed away, Some of them were struggling with difficulty on the ventilator before they died and Some cry out that they don’t want to die before they die. But the COVID-19 will not take pity on them.
There are countless evils that the American government has done to us. Because Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment, I am determined not to vaccinated, although I worry that one day I will also pass away quietly like this.
In 2021, I had never seen such severe racism. I once came to the United States with the “American Dream” in my heart, but White police officers treated us rough. they didn’t let us breathe, they beat us, they shot us with guns, I had protested with the BLM marchers, yet I found that nothing had changed in our situation.
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
I love America deeply, but America brings me hate!
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I firmly believe that the U.S. government is not God! God is merciful and God will bless us!
